At the request of two people, I have decided to update.  Today officially finished my first week of classes.  The semester is going well so far.  I mean, I know that its only been three days, but that should be enough to determine how the semester is going to go, right?  Ok, so maybe I should give it a few more days.

I have decided that the Lord is teaching me patience at this time in my life.  As many of you probably know, I am not the best at waiting.  I like decisions to be made fast, and to be carried out quickly.  But apparently, I need to learn to be more patient and wait upon the Lord.  That verse just keeps popping into my head.  "Wait for the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord." Ps. 27:14.

IF YOU GOT TAGGED:
List:
1. Your current favorite song.
2. Your current favorite movie.
3. Your current favorite book.
Also give reasons for your choices.

OK, so I got tagged by nathan, so here it is:

The Middle by Jimmy Eat World - Do I really have to explain this?  Its a great song, and so applicable. I'm in the middle of the ride, but everything will be just fine.

Young Frankenstein - hello! Its a Gene Wilder movie, enough said.

Les Miserables - After the Bible its the greatest book of ALL time.  Amazing...actually, there are no words...just read it.

So does this mean that I have to tag people now???  Ok, um Stephen (my brother), Katie Williams, Jenny, Erika, Briana, and Brett ( if nathan already tagged you, then you do not have to do it.  Also, if anyone else wants to participate, then please continue)

Ok, well thats enough updating for me.... I mean, once a month is enough, right?!

Do you ever wonder why God does the things that He does? I do.  I wonder what His plan is. I wonder why He takes people away.  I wonder why He asks me to do hard things.  I want to do all that He asks of me with a joyful heart, but I find myself hurting and wondering instead of doing.  I cry when the hard things come along, and I wonder when I cannot see the plan for the road ahead.  Blind faith and trust is what is asked of us - just to step out and trust that God knows what He is doing, and the faith to follow him unconditionally.  "Blessed are they who did not see, and yet believed." John 20:29  Even though I do not know what God's plan is, or why He asks what He does, I pray that I will follow no matter what the cost.

Seeing as how I have not posted in over two months, I think that it is time for me to update.  Hmmm...Ok, surely there is something in my life that is worth posting. Well, for starters, I am back in school.  Yes folks, my senior year has finally arrived.  I thought that it would never get here, but lo and behold, it has come! I am now living in an apartment, and I love it! It is so nice to get out of the Ouachita "bubble".  I feel like I have my own life now. During this school year, I will be working in LR on the weekends.  SO, if any of you are in LR and need a caffeine fix, then come on over to Starbucks! I have decided to lead a much simpler life for my last year of school. I am tired of the rush and the stress.  I have dropped all classes and acticities that I don't really need, and I am just working, doing therapy and of course, my classes.  I seem to have so much more time on my hands, for things like doing my hw ahead of time, actually sitting down and eating dinner, and relaxing on my couch in the afternoons.  So wonderful.  Another plus about that is that I have plenty of time to read my Bible and pray -- I am not having to rush through it to get to another activity.  I feel so much more refreshed and peaceful.  That is something that you cannot replace.  On that note, I am going to end this update.
